Infrastructure Safety & Security Measures at Parivarthana School
Fire Safety Precautions
Fire Extinguishers
ISI hallmark fire extinguishers, sufficient in capacity and quantity, are strategically placed throughout the school building. Additionally, metal buckets filled with sand and water tanks are available at prominent locations for immediate use.
Fire Fighting Training
Comprehensive fire fighting training is provided to all school staff and students from 6th to 12th standard. This includes emergency first aid treatment, handling fire safety equipment, emergency evacuation procedures, and protection strategies in the event of a fire or any other emergency. The training is conducted in collaboration with the Fire & Emergency Wing or other designated agencies by the District Education Committee.
Mock Drills
Regular mock drills, complete with fire alarms, are conducted at various venues within the school premises, including science laboratories.
First Aid Kits
Well-equipped First Aid Kits with essential medicines are readily available in the school to address any medical emergencies. A detailed list of items in the First Aid Kit is provided in Appendix ‘A.’
Health and Emergency Facilities
Nursing Staff
The school employs a full-time nurse to attend to the health concerns and provide necessary healthcare for the students.
Emergency Telephone Numbers
Emergency contact numbers and a list of individuals to be reached in case of any emergency are prominently displayed on notice boards and other key locations throughout the school premises.
Emergency Response Mock Drills
Periodic emergency response mock drills are conducted to ensure both students and school staff are well-prepared for any unforeseen events.
Security Measures
CC Cameras and CCTV Surveillance
The entire school campus is equipped with CC cameras and a comprehensive CCTV surveillance system to maintain strict vigilance across the premises.
GPS Location System for School Buses
Each school bus is equipped with a GPS location system to ensure real-time tracking and safety during transportation. Furthermore, each bus is staffed with a lady attendant to monitor and escort students to and from home.
